Occasionally I teach classes through local organizations, such as art centers, community education programs or The Loft Literary Center. These classes are offered at the whim of the sponsoring organization, so if you see something that you are interested in taking, it would be best to act on it, since I cannot guarantee that it will be offered again in that incarnation. Also, most venues will cancel a class if there are not enough participants registered, so please try to register at least ten days prior to the date of the class to avoid class cancellation. Payment is made to the sponsoring organization.

Also occasionally I will offer classes on my own, so if you do have an interest but can't attend a listed class, please let me know. If I have enough interest, I can put one together. We usually meet at a Caribou coffee house. I might offer some of these this winter.

No upcoming classes are scheduled right now. My hiatus meant I wasn't paying attention to proposal periods, either. Here are some examples of classes I've taught in the past:

Selecting the Truth: Writing Essays, September 2017, Write On! Door County, Ephraim, WI

Social Media Basics
Saturday, March 3 (Grand Marais Arts Colony)

Social Media Demystified
Sunday, March 4 (Grand Marais Arts Colony)

Publicity for Authors
Saturday, April 15 (Loft Literary Center)

When I teach at outside organizations, you must pre-register on the sponsoring organization's website. Registering early helps to ensure the class is not cancelled!
