At BookMania, it’s about the books. Helping good books find readers is not just a tagline – it’s what I try to do every day.
I have spent more than 15 years promoting books and reading. I have done this through writing articles and reviews, through working in marketing, publicity and editorial for several publishers, and through being a book review editor. I continue to love books and strive to help authors reach their audiences, and their audiences find the right books. I am a member of the National Book Critics Circle, the Loft Literary Center and other august organizations.
Check out what I do on the
Services page. Come back often to find out about the latest title I’ve
reviewed, or the authors I’m working with, or the
class I’m teaching. Check out my column on Examiner.com, where I not only talk about the
Twin Cities Book Life, but publish original and new book reviews, author Q&As and profiles. You can subscribe to get the latest column directly in your inbox.
Look for my entries on BlogCritics.com, under BookManiac (look for the little bullseye!). Original reviews, essays and author interviews.
Also look for my articles and guest blog posts on sites such as the NBCC blog Critical Mass, A View from the Loft, Reading Minnesota, MNReads and The Lit Witch, among others.
